Waste Transfer Station fees and charges to come into effect

Fees and charges will come into effect for select items at the Watkins Road Waste Transfer Station and Recycling Centre next month.
As of Thursday, 2 September 2021, residents will incur a small fee when recycling the following items at the Transfer Station:

These new charges are part of the Shire’s 2021/22 Fees and Charges schedule.
They do not cover the full cost required to recycle each item and are only a contribution to the total fee.
Payment for these items can be made on arrival to the facility. Payment must be made by card (no cash) and a receipt will be provided.
