Many dog owners are unaware that their dog is barking excessively, particularly when they are not at home.

Before submitting a complaint, we encourage you to make several genuine, friendly attempts to resolve the issue directly with the owner.

Start with a neighbourly conversation and allow at least a couple of weeks for the owner to address the problem.

You can also leave a polite note explaining when the barking occurs or use our Dear Neighbour Bark Card.

If your attempts to resolve the issue are unsuccessful, you can submit a barking dog complaint using the reporting option above.
