The Wildcare Helpline cannot assist with domestic animals or livestock.

Wildlife rehabilitators are often volunteers who provide care in their own time, and immediate assistance may not always be available.

Darling Range Wildlife Shelter is a local wildlife rehabilitation organisation that cares for injured, orphaned and displaced native animals.

The shelter works with wildlife carers, volunteers and veterinary professionals to provide treatment, rehabilitation and, where possible, release animals back into the wild.

If you find injured wildlife, contact Wildcare or Darling Range Wildlife Shelter for advice before attempting to handle the animal.

RSPCA WA investigates reports of cruelty, neglect and animal welfare concerns involving domestic animals.

The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions manages Western Australia's parks, reserves and native wildlife, and can provide information on wildlife and conservation matters.
