Hypergrowth Roads Program
This stage of the Hypergrowth Roads Program in SJ is now nearing completion, with Kargotich and Orton Roads set to open on Sunday 15 June.
Please note:
- Temporary reflective markers have been installed to guide traffic, as the final line marking will be completed by Main Roads WA at a later date.
- Motorists are advised to take care while driving, as there is currently no permanent line marking in place.
- A few minor remaining works may need to be carried out under temporary traffic management during the following week.
The program was funded by an $18 million State Government commitment, and enabled us to upgrade the following local roads:
- Kargotich Road
- Soldiers Road
- Orton Road
Upgrades included road widening, pavement rehabilitation, drainage investigation and street lighting design.
Further information on each of these projects can be found below.
