Animal Management Facility - Lost/Found Animals
Once a cat or dog comes into the Rangers possession they are checked for a microchip. We will always try and unite pet and owner.
If we are unable to get hold of an owner or the dog is unable to be secured it may be impounded.
All animals that we impound are kept safely at our facility in Mundijong.
Reclaiming your lost animal might require you to pay an impound fee. This covers the cost of keeping your animal for the duration of its stay with us.
The following is required by law for the animals to be released:
- Registration
- Microchipping
- Sterilisation (cats only)
Where the owner is not known we endeavour to keep a list of those animals impounded in our facility below, however we encourage owners to contact our Ranger Service Team on 9526 1111 if you have lost an animal.
