You can recycle, reuse and reduce your unwanted items by donating them to the SJ Reuse Shop and keep the Circular Economy going/turn trash into treasure - by grabbing yourself a bargain too!

The aim of the SJ Reuse Shop is to divert waste from ending up in landfill.  We will have a tally at the Reuse Shop and an update every month right here - so you can see the amazing results of this initiative!!

Since opening on October 1st 2022, it is estimated the SJ Reuse Shop has diverted the following waste from landfill:

Watkins Road Waste Transfer Station and Recycling Centre (WTS)

Lot 512, Watkins Road, Mundijong, WA, 6123

Note there is a 10km/hr speed limit onsite (within Watkins Rd Transfer Station & Recycling Centre) as there is plant in operation nearby.

Shop n Swap for kids

There will be a children’s library section where books and DVD's (early learning to primary school age) can be swapped like for like.

Plus, babies grow so quickly and go through a lot of clothes and accessories, so while we would prefer that usual clothing donations go to the charity bins on-site at the Waste Transfer Station, the “Shop n Swap” section will include kids clothing and accessories.

You can bring in a similar clothing donation and swap it for free items from the Shop n Swap section.
