Restricted burning period

Due to current conditions, Fire Control Officers will be limiting the number of permits to burn issued to property owners. The current fire conditions allow for low risk piles
to be burnt and, after an assessment by a Fire Control Officer, grass paddocks.

No permits for running fire on bush blocks will be issued until we receive more rain.

If you are burning, please register your burn with Department of Fire and Emergency Services WA on 93950 9209 and always notify your neighbours beforehand.

During the restricted burning period, local volunteer bushfire brigades will be undertaking prescribed burns.

These will be completed under the development of a prescribed fire plan including a detailed risk assessment.
