Trevor Senior - Jarrahdale Heritage Society


Trevor was recognised as a part of the Shire’s Volunteer Recognition Program for his hard work with the Jarrahdale Heritage Society. Trevor received a $50 voucher to a restaurant of his choice located within the Shire.

We asked Trevor a few questions about their experience volunteering:

How did you get involved in volunteering for your club/group?

I have always been interested in history and when I moved back to Mardella I joined my parents at the Serpentine Historical Society.

How long have you been involved in volunteering?

I have been involved in volunteering since I was a teenager.

What do you enjoy most about volunteering?

Volunteering is a great way to meet people and become involved in your community.

What makes your club/group special to you?

I am fortunate to be involved with a great group of people, although small in number, we have achieved quite a lot for our community.

Why would you recommend others to get involved in volunteering?

There is a variety of areas in volunteering that are available for people of various interests to get involved in their community.
