Committees of Council

Council has established two Committees of Council under section 5.8 of the Local Government Act 1995.

These are:

• Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee
• CEO Employment Committee

Advisory Groups and Committees

Council has established the following advisory groups with external membership:

• Access and Inclusion Advisory Group
• Bush Fire Advisory Committee
• Cemeteries Advisory Group 
• Equine Advisory Group 
• Jarrahdale Trails Centre Committee
• Keirnan Park Stakeholder Reference Group
• Local Emergency Management Committee
• Volunteer Bushfire Brigades Enhancement Working Group

Members of the above committees and advisory groups will be notified of meetings. 

Expressions of Interest

Advisory Groups and Shire Committees allow our community to provide insights, share lived experience and offer specialist knowledge to assist the work we do.

We are currently seeking Expressions of Interest for people to join one of our committees or advisory groups.

Your input will be used to help make SJ Shire a better place.
