The latest stage of the Shire’s hypergrowth roads program is complete, with upgrades carried out to roundabouts at Keirnan Street and Cardup Siding Road.
Shire President Rob Coales joined Member for Darling Range Hugh Jones MLA to see the improvements firsthand at Cardup Siding Road, where works have included resurfacing and landscaping.
The upgrades have been made possible by an $18 million State Government funding commitment, which is delivering extensive enhancements to Kargotich, Soldiers and Orton roads.
The Shire has already delivered on upgrades to Kargotich Road, between Rowley Road and Thomas Road.
A tender for final works to Kargotich Road has been called, with upgrades expected to start early 2025.
