SJ Worm Farming Workshop

Saturday 19th July 2025

Want to reduce your food waste and create nutrient-rich compost for your garden? Join us for a fun and practical SJ Worm Farming Workshop, where you’ll learn how to set up and maintain your very own worm farm at home.

This hands-on session will cover:

  • What worms need to thrive
  • How to set up a worm farm (and keep it healthy!)
  • Troubleshooting common worm farming issues
  • How to harvest and use worm castings and worm tea in your garden

While the information in this workshop is tailored for adults, children are very welcome! We’ll have a dedicated kids area with toys and activities set up within the venue, so parents and caregivers can participate while little ones stay entertained.

When: Saturday, 19 July from 10am to 11:30am

Where: Briggs Park Pavillion (corner of Mead St & Gordin Way)

Cost: $3 per ticket (children 0-16 years old are free)

Spots are limited, so book early to secure your place!
