Join the Jarrahdale Heritage Society for a guided walk through the Jarrah, Marri and Wandoo forests in Jarrahdale.

The beginning of the trail follows the original tramway from Jarrahdale to Rockingham. After a short steep hill climb rewarded with views to the coast, the walk returns to Jarrahdale via attractive forest paths alongside the Gingagup Brook.

Date: Sunday 27 July

Time: From 9am - 1pm (registrations from 8:40am)

Where: Meet at Buckland Road/Corner of Jarrahdale Road

Cost: $7.50 per adult, $2.50 per school-aged child, or $15 per family (two adults + two children)

Important info:

There'll be some steep gravel sections, with views. Hiking poles are recommended with loose gravel slopes to negotiate.

Feel free to bring a trail snack to enjoy at various stops along the way.

Bring sturdy walking shoes and protective clothing.
