The Shire’s 2023 Road Reseal Program officially reached the halfway mark this week, with five of the total 10 road upgrades now complete.

Millars Road (Jarrahdale), Chestnut Road (Jarrahdale), Hardey Road (Serpentine), Tonkin Street (Mundijong) and Senior Court (Mundijong) have all been resealed in recent weeks.

The works have provided locals with a much smoother drive by repairing potholes and upgrading road surfaces.

Attention now turns to the remaining five roads set to receive a facelift as part of the program. These include:

• Holmes Road, Oakford
• College Court, Serpentine
• Baldwin Road, Serpentine
• Richardson Street, Serpentine
• Lefroy Street, Serpentine

Reseals for these roads will be carried out over the coming weeks, with the final set of works expected to complete by mid-May.

The Road Reseal Program is jointly funded by the Shire and the Australian Government’s Roads to Recovery Program.
