The Countdown to Christmas is on in the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale, with a range of festive activities planned over the coming weeks – the end of a bumper events year for the Shire.
Whether you want to sparkle-up your street in the Christmas Lights Competition, find a unique Christmas gift at the Artisan Twilight Markets or join the festive fun at the Christmas Street Festival, there's something for everyone this holiday season.
Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale President Rob Coales said Christmas was a wonderful time for the community to celebrate together.
“Christmas is a special time for our SJ residents to share joy and happiness with each other and make lasting memories,” President Coales said.
“We have an amazing line-up of free events for all ages and interests, and I'm looking forward to experiencing the festive spirit that our Shire is known for.
“Don't miss this opportunity to have some fun and spread some cheer with us as we count down to Christmas together.”
Some of the highlights on this year’s Countdown to Christmas calendar include:
- Artisan Twilight Christmas Market – 24 November, 4.30pm – 8.30pm, behind the Byford Library
- Byford Carols – 2 December, 6.00pm – 8.30pm, Briggs Park Reserve
