Families are invited to our interactive Community Night Festival, this Friday, from 4-8pm at Mundijong Oval. This vibrant event promises an evening of education, entertainment, and community bonding.

Featuring SJ’s best food trucks, SJ residents can indulge in a range of culinary delights. The festival offers educational activities for all ages, ensuring an unforgettable night.

Event Highlights:

Interactive Workshops: Learn all you need to know about preparing for the summer months ahead. Emergency service professionals will be on hand to demonstrate and share invaluable safety tips.

Wildlife Education: Develop essential snake awareness and snake bite first aid skills. Discover how to safely relocate lizards and care for our reptilian friends during the upcoming spring and summer seasons.

Community Engagement: Meet your local volunteer fire brigade, SJ Rangers, Neighbourhood Watch, Mundijong Police, and more. This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with those dedicated to keeping our community safe.

Plenty of Fun: Pack your picnic rug and enjoy an evening of true community spirit. Indulge in a variety of delectable offerings from food trucks, ice-cream, and dessert vans.

Environmental Responsibility:

The Shire of SJ is committed to minimising its environmental footprint. We proudly announce our partnership with Go2Cup to make this event as plastic-free as possible. Food trucks will serve their fare in reusable serve-ware, and waste will be sorted to avoid unnecessary landfill. Additionally, FREE water tanks will be available for bottle refills, thanks to the generous support of the Serpentine Jarrahdale Lions Club and Dons Water Force, ensuring we leave no trace.
