Residents are invited to explore the wonders of Mundijong Public Library and its range of programs and services as part of Library and Information Week 2021

Held from 17 - 23 May, the week shines the spotlight on the important role library and information services play in our community.

The theme for this year’s Library and Information Week is Adventures in Space and Time.

Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale President Cr Michelle Rich said the week was a great opportunity to recognise the vast contribution the Shire’s library service makes to the SJ community.

“For many people, library and information services are places of adventure,” Cr Rich said.

“A visit to the library can often take you on a journey, whether it's in search of specific information, browsing through vast collections, or coming together with others to learn something new.

“I would encourage everyone to join in the festivities planned for Library and Information Week, whether you are an existing member of our library or looking to explore the Mundijong Public Library for the first time.”

In the spirit of this year’s theme, the Mundijong Public Library will be decked out in colourful displays and a range of activities also available.
