Applications for the February round of the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale’s SJ Community Grants Program are now open.

The SJ Community Grants Program supports local community groups, organisations and individuals with funding to deliver important projects, purchase equipment or host successful events.

Applications are currently being taken for:

• General Grants (up to $5,000)
• Major Event Grants (up to $20,000)

General Grants provide direct financial assistance for registered not-for-profit organisations and incorporated community groups for initiatives relevant to the Serpentine Jarrahdale community.

These grants have supported a variety of organisations and projects over the years including local sporting groups, early learning centres, local artwork installations and much more.

Major Event Grants support the delivery of community, sporting or cultural events that are of significance to the area.

Past events supported by these grants include the SJ Food and Farm Fest and Byford Carols.
