At its Ordinary Council Meeting held on 17 February 2020, Council resolved to adopt the Draft Local Planning Policy 4.19: Development in the Rural Zone in accordance with clause 4 (1)(a) of the Planning and Development  (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015 for the purposes of community consultation.

As part of the community consultation, the Shire will be holding a Community Forum for residents to speak with Shire Officers about the Draft Local Planning Policy and provide feedback.

Submissions on the Local Planning Policy can be made in writing by e-mail to info@sjshire.wa.gov.au, by mail, online via a survey or in person to 6 Paterson Street, Mundijong 6123 by no later than 5pm, 12 November 2020.

The draft Local Planning Policy can be viewed below or at the Shire’s Administration Building at 6 Paterson Street, Mundijong between 8:30am-4:30 pm.
