Mug Painting Class – All Experience Levels Welcome

Join us at Byford Library for a fun and relaxing mug painting class suitable for all experience levels.

Whether you're a complete beginner or a confident creative, you'll start with a short demonstration covering simple painting techniques such as sponging and colour blocking. Then it’s your turn to design your own unique mug—use provided patterns, bring your own ideas, or simply paint freely and let inspiration guide you.

Each participant will receive one handmade mug from Minky’s Pottery to decorate during the session. Additional pottery items may be available to purchase on the day (time permitting).

Included in your session:
• One handmade mug
• Use of brushes, sponges, and a wide range of paints
• Glaze firing of your finished piece
• A relaxed and creative atmosphere

All mugs will be glaze-fired off-site with a clear gloss finish, making them food-safe and dishwasher-safe. Finished pieces will be ready for collection in 3–4 weeks.

Please note: Clay is a natural material, and while care is taken during firing, occasional breakages may occur. No refunds can be offered for damaged pieces.
