A Swearing in Ceremony and a Special Council Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 22 October 2025 following of the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale's 2025 Council Elections

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale gives notice that from Tuesday 14 October 2025, Hopkinson Road, north of Thomas Road, will be closed as part of the THETRU Project.

Hopkinson Road, between Cavanagh Close and Gossage Road, and Gossage Road at the intersection with Hopkinson Road will be closed to traffic from 3 November

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale invites expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced persons to join its Audit, Risk and Improvement Committee (ARIC), including to fill the positions of Presiding and Deputy Presiding Members.

In accordance with Section 3.50(1a) of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale gives notice that from 15 September 2025, Hopkinson Road south of the intersection at Thomas Road, Byford will be closed for the purposes of the Tonkin Highway Extension and Thomas Road Upgrade (THETRU) Project being delivered by the Tonkin Extension Alliance.

In accordance with the Local Government Act 1995 requirements for long-term temporary road closures the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale advises that Orton Road will be closed between King Road and Kargotich Road, Oakford to allow the Water Corporation to replace Bridge 187.

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale hereby provides notice in accordance with section 3.58 of the Local Government Act of the proposed disposal of property by way of lease, as described below;

A harvest vehicle movement ban has been placed for Sunday, 22 December between 9am and 2pm, and Monday, 23 December between 6am and 6pm for the whole of the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale.

In accordance with Public Notice requirements under the Local Government Act 1995 for long term road closures, the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale advises property owners and road users that: • Kargotich Road, between Thomas Road and Orton Road, and • Orton Road, between Kargotich Road and Hopkinson Road will be temporarily closed to undertake pavement rehabilitation and upgrade works to these roads from 3 February 2025 to 30 May 2025.
