Glide across the ice and test your skating skills! 

As part of the Shire’s school holiday youth programming, the youth team are offering an opportunity to young people ages 12-17 to attend a free session at Cockburn Ice Skating Arena! The event will consist of a 2-hour hosted session at Cockburn Ice Skating Arena, with travel included. And the best part is that it is all FREE!

Destination: Cockburn Ice Skating Arena - 401 Progress Dr, Bibra Lake WA

Date of Excursion: Thursday 24th April 2025

Departure Time: 11:50am

Return Time: 4pm

Mode of Transportation: BUS – chartered by Zion Coach Services.

Important Information:

• Registering for this event via Humanitix does not confirm attendance, you must also complete the permission slip sent via email. If you are a young person signing yourself up, please provide a contact for a parent/guardian. 
• Please arrive at the Youth Space in Byford (Briggs Park 38 Mead street) no later than 11:20-11:30am to leave on the bus at 11:50am.
• Please remember to wear long thick socks (not ankle socks as the high boot will rub against the skin), 
• Dress in layers as it will be cold, but you will warm up as you skate
