National Science Week: Marine Science Explorers (Girls Only)

Celebrate National Science Week at Byford Library with Sarah from Little Genius Science in this special girls-only Marine Science Explorers program for ages 8–12.

Participants will dive into ocean ecosystems and discover marine animals, adaptations, food webs, and conservation challenges. Hands-on activities may include building deep-sea creature models, testing buoyancy, designing oil-spill clean-up experiments, and learning how scientists track dolphins and whales.

This engaging workshop combines real-world marine science with environmental awareness and creative problem-solving.
