Fremantle Prison Tour - School Holiday Program (Ages 12-17)

As part of the Shire's School Holiday Program, the Youth team are happy to offer a FREE opportunity for young people to attend an excursion to Fremantle Prison for a tour!
The history of Fremantle Prison dates back to the early beginnings of Western Australia and its role in the development of this State is unparalleled. It is the largest convict built structure in Western Australia and the most intact convict establishment in the nation. In 2010, Fremantle Prison became the first building in Western Australia to be included on the World Heritage list. Its inscription on the World Heritage list was part of a serial nomination with ten other Australian Convict Sites.
Please wear enclosed shoes and bring your own water bottle. Snacks and juice boxes will be provided as always.

Date: Friday 10th April
Arrive at Byford Youth Space: No later than 9am
Departure Time from Byford Youth Space: 9:15am
Return Time to Byford Youth Space: 12:15pm
Transportation: Bus chartered by Zion Coach Services.
Location: Byford Youth Space - Briggs Park Pavillion (The building next to the skatepark at Briggs Park Oval). Corner of Mead Street and Gordin Way.
