The Serpentine Jarrahdale Library Service is teaming up with the Dyslexia-SPELD Foundation (DSF) to deliver a two-part Boost Program workshop in September.
The program is designed to provide parents and carers of children in kindergarten to year one with information about how they best learn to read and write.
The workshops will be run by qualified DSF Speech Pathologists and SJ Library Service staff, aiming to empower parents by providing them with information, resources and confidence to engage their children in fun learning activities.
Both sessions are three hours long with a short break for morning tea included.
