Published on Monday, 1 February 2021 at 4:32:39 PM

This five-day lockdown has no doubt come as a shock to many residents in our community.

If you, or someone you know, needs support, help is available through the Shire’s Helping Hands SJ initiative. You can access this support via phoning 9526 1111 during office hours or online via www.sjshire.wa.gov.au/helpinghands

I urge everyone to follow the State Government’s directions during the lockdown, and ensure that you are informed of your responsibilities to keep you, your family and your friends safe and well.

Please continue to access factual information about the lockdown via the WA Government website here: www.wa.gov.au

The Shire has been proactive in adhering to the advice and implementing directions from the State Government, and we will continue to do so throughout the duration of this lockdown.

By working together we can all help combat this latest outbreak of COVID-19.

Stay safe SJ.
