The finishing touches are being completed at Byford Hall to accommodate the Serpentine Jarrahdale Library Service.
As we prepare for the move to our new location, there will be some disruption to the Shire’s library service.

Why does the library need to close for 8 days?
To move stock, computers and furniture to the premises and to make sure all our new computers, printers and other exciting technology are ready for opening.
What do I do if I have books due back during the closing period?
All your loan due dates have been extended so you won’t need to return anything until after we have opened again.
Can I still access resources while the library is closed?
The Shire’s new Mobile Library Service is scheduled to commence on Monday, 11 July 2022.
The Mobile Library Service will visit Mundijong, Serpentine and Jarrahdale on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays respectively. For more information on this service: sjshire.wa.gov.au/mls.aspx
