Public Notice – Permanent closure of Unnamed and Unmade Road Reserve – Adjacent to Lot 3 (35) Taylor Road Mundijong

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale gives public notice of its intention to request the Minister for Planning and Lands to permanently close an unnamed and unmade road reserve, directly adjacent to Lot 3 (35) Taylor Road Mundijong, a total of 1.1629 hectares as marked in yellow, in the image below and in accordance with section 58(1) of the Land Administration Act 1997.

The proposed closure of an unnamed and unmade road reserve is required to progress the Taylor Springs Estate Development in accordance with the approved Local Structure Plan. In accordance with the proposed Mundijong-Whitby Sub Precinct G1 Local Structure Plan previously endorsed by Council, the closure is necessary to progress the Taylor Springs Estate Development. The portion of the unnamed and unmade road reserve subject to this closure application is to be incorporated into the adjoining development, as shown indicated in red on the below image.

Submissions

Written submissions or feedback regarding the proposed closure are invited and must be received within 35 days of the date of this letter, being no later than 5.00pm on Friday September 11, 2026.
