Proposed Disposition of Property

In accordance with Section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale gives local public notice of the proposed disposal of a Portion of State Forest 22 – Kingsbury Drive, Jarrahdale by way of a sublease to Optus Mobile Pty Limited for co-location at the Shire’s telecommunications facility on the following key terms:

Term: Ten (10) years with two (2) further term options of five (5) years

Lease Area: An area of approximately 21 square metres with permitted equipment on the towers mast.

Consideration: $28,000 per annum plus GST, plus outgoings payable by the tenant, with an annual fixed increase of 3%.

Market valuation: $35,000–$45,000 per annum plus GST, plus outgoings payable by the tenant, as ascertained by a licensed valuer on 14 July 2026.

Permitted Use: Telecommunications facility and uses reasonably ancillary thereto

Submissions on the proposed disposition may be made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale, 6 Paterson Street Mundijong WA 6123 no later than 5pm, 18 September 2026.
