Proposed Disposition of Property
In accordance with Section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale gives local public notice of the proposed disposal of a Portion of State Forest 22 – Kingsbury Drive, Jarrahdale by way of a sublease to Telstra Limited for co-location at the Shire’s telecommunications facility on the following key terms:
Term: Ten (10) years with two (2) further term options of five (5) years
Lease Area: An area of approximately 10.2 square metres with permitted equipment on the towers mast.
Consideration: $30,000 per annum plus GST, plus outgoings to be paid by the tenant with an annual 3% fixed increase.
Market valuation: $30,000 – $40,000 per annum plus GST, plus outgoings to be paid by the tenant, as ascertained by a licenced valuer on 29 August 2025.
Permitted Use: Telecommunications facility and uses reasonably ancillary thereto
Submissions on the proposed disposition may be made in writing to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale, 6 Paterson Street Mundijong WA 6123 no later than 5pm, 6 March 2026.
