New Light Towers Supporting Local Rugby League Training in Serpentine

Players from the Serpentine Jarrahdale Rugby League & Sporting Club are benefiting from improved training conditions following the installation of new light towers at Clem Kentish Oval in Serpentine.

Shire President Rob Coales recently met with Club President Dennis Hodges to view the new lighting infrastructure and watch the Serpents Rugby Team during a training session.

The light towers were supplied by the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale to improve visibility during evening training sessions and twilight games, supporting the ongoing use of the facility by local sporting clubs.

The upgraded lighting will help provide a safer and more enjoyable experience for players, volunteers and spectators while allowing greater use of the oval outside daylight hours.

Investing in community sporting infrastructure helps support participation in sport and recreation, while ensuring local clubs have access to facilities that meet their needs.

The Shire remains committed to maintaining and improving sporting facilities across the region to support active and connected communities.
