The Shire advises that road resurfacing works will be undertaken at the following locations:

Hall Road

Date: Monday, 18 August
Time: 7.00am to 5.00pm

A full road closure will be in place for the duration of the works. Traffic management and detour signage will be implemented to assist road users and maintain access where possible.

Yangedi South Road / Punrak Road, Hopeland

Date: Tuesday, 19 August
Time: 7.00am to 5.00pm

Works will be carried out under a soft road closure. Local residents and authorised traffic will continue to have access; however, delays are expected as vehicles will be escorted through the work area by a traffic controller-led vehicle.

About the Works

The works will involve profiling the existing road surface and reinstating it with a new asphalt pavement surface.

Traffic management will be in place at both locations to ensure the safety of workers and road users. Motorists are asked to follow all signage and directions from traffic controllers and allow extra travel time where possible.
