Permanent closure of a Portion of Road Reserve - Reilly Road Whitby

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale gives public notice of its intention to request the Minister for Planning and Lands to permanently close a portion of Road Reserve – Reilly Road Whitby, a total of 6548 square meters as marked in orange, in the image below and in accordance with section 58(1) of the Land Administration Act 1997.

The proposed closure of a portion of road reserve is required to progress Whitby Estate Development in accordance with the approved Local Structure Plan, which has been previously endorsed by Council, the closure is necessary to progress the Whitby Estate Development.

Submissions

Written submissions or feedback regarding the proposed closure are invited and must be received within 35 days of the date of this letter, being no later than 5.00pm on Tuesday November 17, 2026.
