Permanent closure of a portion of Orton Road between Lot 102 and Lot 9125, Byford

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale gives public notice of its intention to request the Minister for Planning and Lands to permanently close a portion of Orton Road between Lot 102 and Lot 9125, Byford, a total of 3012 square meters as marked in blue, in the image below and in accordance with section 58(1) of the Land Administration Act 1997.

The proposed closure of a portion of Orton Road between Lot 102 and Lot 9125 Byford. In accordance with the proposed Glades Cardup Brook Precinct Local Structure Plan previously endorsed by Council, the closure is necessary for the progression of The Glades Cardup Brook Precinct development.

Submissions

Written submissions or feedback regarding the proposed closure are invited and must be received within 35 days of the date of this letter, being no later than 5.00pm on Tuesday November 17, 2026.
