The latest round of the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale’s Community Grants Program is now open, offering local groups the chance to bring new ideas, events and initiatives to life.

The program provides funding support for projects that make a positive and lasting impact across the Shire, helping community organisations deliver activities that strengthen connection, celebrate local identity and enhance the wellbeing of residents.

Community groups can apply for a Major Event Grant, with up to $25,000 available for large-scale community, sporting or cultural events that draw visitors to the region and showcase the best of Serpentine Jarrahdale.

Eligible organisations can also apply for a General Grant, offering up to $5,000 to support programs, events, equipment, training, resources and other initiatives that benefit the local community.

In the previous round of General Grants, five local groups shared more than $17,000, supporting projects ranging from an RSPCA Community Action Day to wayfinding and signage for visitors in Jarrahdale - just a snapshot of the diverse and meaningful work happening across SJ.
