Mud, laughter and glorious messy play are returning to Serpentine Jarrahdale as Muddy Buddies splashes back in 2026.

Families are invited to squelch, splat, stomp and slide their way through one of SJ’s most beloved outdoor events, where kids can run wild, get muddy and embrace the joy of messy nature play.

With four mud-soaked sessions across two days, this year’s event promises even more muddy mayhem, creative play and unforgettable family fun.

This year, there are FOUR spectacular mud-soaked sessions to choose from across TWO days!

Muddy Bubbies

Friday, 10 April 9:30am – 11:30am

Perfect for little mud-lovers aged 1–5 years.

A gentle introduction to the joy of glorious grime, featuring:

• A mini mud pit with trucks & tractors ready to dig, dump and splatter

• Muddy face painting

• Mud kitchens & ooey-gooey mud pie stations

• The enchanting Bush Fairies

• Pop-up pallet building

• Rainbow Trail Hunt

• Create-your-own Mud Monsters

Tiny hands. Big splashes. Maximum mess.

Low-Sensory Muddy Buddies

Friday | 12:30pm – 2:30pm

All the mud, with a calmer vibe.

Designed for families who benefit from a quieter, more relaxed environment. This session includes everything from our regular Muddy Buddies event, but with:

• Reduced numbers

• No fire trucks, sirens or flashing lights

• No background music

• A gentler, quieter atmosphere

Carers warmly welcomed. Mud for everyone.
