Have your say on community safety

As part of Community Safety Month, residents are also encouraged to share their views through the Shire's Community Safety and Crime Prevention Survey.

The survey invites residents to share their experiences and concerns about safety in their local area, helping the Shire better understand community priorities and inform future crime prevention and community safety initiatives.

Whether it's road safety, antisocial behaviour, crime prevention or other local concerns, your feedback can help shape the Shire's approach to community safety.

Community safety beyond October

Community Safety Month also provides an opportunity to highlight the range of services and resources available to residents throughout the year.

These include the Shire's free Holiday Watch Patrol Service, home security advice, Neighbourhood Watch resources and the Friendly Neighbourhoods Grant, which supports activities that bring neighbours together.

Residents are encouraged to explore these initiatives and take simple steps to help make their homes, streets and neighbourhoods safer.

Get involved

Whether you're looking to learn something new, meet your neighbours or pick up practical safety tips, there's still plenty of opportunity to get involved this October.
