The Serpentine Historical Society Inc collects documents, photographs, letters and also research's information to record the history of the Serpentine District.
We welcome new members to help us with:
Cataloguing of information and photographs that need to be recorded and stored.
There is the opportunity at the Old Bridge School to greet and help visitors, create displays and commemorate historical events.
The 'Walk with Our Ancestors' booklet, available from the cemetery, needs to be upgraded to include people who have passed away since it was published. Help is needed in our review of the burial records.
Prospective new members are very welcome to our monthly meetings, including anyone who is skilled in I.T.
We meet at 9am on the 3rd Wednesday of every month (Feb - Nov)
at the Ivan Elliott Pavilion, Horse & Pony Club, Karnup Road, Serpentine.
