I got involved with the Lightweight Motorcycle Club when my son started racing as a junior, now he is a senior I still like to help the club out anyway I can.

I have been volunteering for the Lightweight Motorcycle Club for about 12 years.

What do you enjoy most about volunteering?

I like seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces after a race especially the 50cc riders.

What makes your club/group special to you?

The friendships and support of all the members, committee and volunteers that make for enjoyable race days.

Why would you recommend others to get involved in volunteering?

Meeting new people, supporting the club, committee members and all volunteers. I feel everyone should help their local clubs or groups as it makes for an enjoyable club, with many hands making light work.
