Festive frenzy hits town

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale’s festive season kicks off with the Christmas Markets and Food Truck Fiesta.

Event details:

  • Friday, 3 December 2021
  • 5pm – 8pm
  • Paterson Street, Mundijong

You can find the perfect Christmas presents at the artisan and craft market stalls while enjoying the delights of some of Perth’s finest food trucks.

Paterson Street’s new in-ground lighting will also be switched on, adding an array of colour to the street’s spotted gum trees.

Who has SJ’s best Christmas lights?

The search is on to see whose star will shine brightest in the inaugural SJ Christmas Lights Competition.

Voting for the competition is open from 1 – 15 December 2021.

During the voting period, photos of each registered display will be uploaded to the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale Facebook page.

To vote for your favourite entry, simply visit the page and “like” the photo you think deserves to be crowned SJ’s best Christmas lights.

Reflect, Respect and Celebrate this Australia Day

Come along and celebrate our great nation with us this Australia Day.

The Shire will be holding a free Community BBQ Breakfast followed by our annual backyard Cricket Match.

The Food Truck Fiesta will keep on rolling through summer, with stops in Mundijong and Serpentine.
