Reflect, Respect and Celebrate this Australia Day
Come along and celebrate our great nation with us this Australia Day.
The Shire will be holding a free Community BBQ Breakfast followed by our annual backyard Cricket Match.

Food Truck Fiesta movie night – You pick the movie!
A special “movie night” edition of the Food Truck Fiesta will be held at Clem Kentish Oval on Saturday, 19 February 2022, but we can’t decide what to watch!
We have managed to narrow it down to three choices, but we need to hear from you before we move forward on this vital decision.

The Prohibited Burning Period is currently in effect. All burning is prohibited during this time.

Total Fire Bans: All you need to know
Total Fire Bans (TFBs) are declared on days when fires are most likely to threaten lives and property. This could be due to predicted extreme fire weather or when there are already widespread fires and firefighting resources are stretched.
It is illegal to light an open-air fire or conduct any activity that could start a fire during a TFB.

School holidays continue to edge toward a close, but there’s still plenty of fun to be had in Serpentine Jarrahdale.

Experience our gorgeous trails in a whole new way
The Shire has teamed up with Perth Trail Series to deliver a new and innovative way to experience our iconic trails.
The Learn How To Trail Run event will be held across 12-13 February 2022, and will offer a beginner’s guide to trail running.

SJ Farmers Market
The SJ Farmers Market returns on Saturday, 5 February 2022.
Come down to the Serpentine Jarrahdale CRC in Mundijong between 8am - 11am every Saturday to buy local and support local.
The Shire is proud to support the market and our local farmers, growers, primary producers and artisan makers.
Serpentine Falls
Serpentine Falls is located within the beautiful Serpentine National Park .
You can enjoy a picnic, swim, take a walk on one of the trails and enjoy the local wildlife, including friendly kangaroos.

Explore our SJ Play Trails with our new SJ Play Trails app.
Simply download the app, visit Jarrahdale and Gooralong Brook Play Trail, Mundijong Floral Walk Play Trail, Brickwood Reserve Play Trail or Whitby Falls Play Trail to unlock challenges, solve quiz questions and score points.
The SJ Play Trails app is a great introduction to trails for beginners and lots of fun for seasoned trail walkers too!
