Nature Playground and Water Splash Park for Byford

The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale welcomes today’s Nature Playground and Water Splash Park election commitment from the WA Liberals.

Liberal Leader Zak Kirkup and Alyssa Hayden have committed a future Liberal Government to spending $5 million to fund a Nature Playground and Water Splash Park in Byford’s town centre.

Shire President Michelle Rich said as the fastest growing local government in WA, Serpentine Jarrahdale has almost two new families moving to our Shire every day.

“To meet the growing needs of our Shire, we have a comprehensive list of priorities endorsed by Council which aims to maximise investment from all levels of government.

“Our priorities include a Nature Playground and Water Splash Park.

“While children of all ages will love it, so will Byford small businesses, as they will have more families staying in the town centre for longer.”

“Your Council continues to work hard in advocating for community needs with all parties contesting the State Election, so as we grow together, our community facilities get the investment we deserve.”
