The Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale is encouraging community groups to apply for funding with the first General Grants round for 2021 now officially open.

The Shire’s General Grants scheme is open to local community groups and not-for-profit organisations for projects that will benefit the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale community.

So far this financial year, 10 local organisations have shared in approximately $30,000 worth of funding through the Shire’s 2020/21 General Grants program.

This includes the SJ Serpents Rugby League and Sports Club, who used their funding to purchase new training equipment.

General Grants

Grants of up to $5000 are available for local registered not-for-profit organisations and incorporated community groups under the new General Grants round, for the delivery of eligible initiatives such as programs, events and equipment.

Applications close 5pm, Tuesday, 2 March 2021.
