SJ Plastic Free Living Program: Recycled Musical Instruments

Tuesday 11th April 2023

(Past Event)

As part of the Shire’s SJ Plastic Free Living Program - Join experienced artists this April School Holidays for a series of fun musical instruments upcycling workshops.

The Recycled Instrument Project has everything supplied for your take home art. Led by Djinda Boodja Arts Centre Director Vicki Warn and Curate Micro-Factory Director Patricia Alessi, join us as we explore our stock of drumskins and maracas at Bill Hicks Hall and turn musical trash into musical treasure!

A nostalgic, intergenerational, hands-on arts workshop for ages 4 and above.

We are looking forward to giving forgotten drumskins and maracas a new lease on life - and you get to take them home!
