Join us and celebrate our diverse community with a free community breakfast BBQ and children’s activities from 7.30am-9am at the Shire’s Civic Centre, 6 Paterson Street, Mundijong.
Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale Australia Day Awards
The Shire’s Australia Day Awards will follow the BBQ at 9am where four deserving residents recognised with the presentation of the Clem Kentish Community Service Award, Community Citizen of the Year Award, Senior Community Citizen of the Year Award and the Rotary Service Above Self Award.
Thank you to the Rotary Club of Byford & Districts for their continued support of the event and presentation of Rotary Service Above Self Award.
Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale Australia Day Citizenship Ceremonies
Following the Australia Day Awards the Shire will commence its Australia Day Citizenship Ceremonies where the Shire will welcome 120 new Australian citizens. Due to the large number of candidates for citizenship, there will be two ceremonies, one at 10am and the second at 11.45am.
For the comfort of attendees, this year’s Australia Day Awards and Citizenship Ceremonies will be held in the air-conditioned Civic Centre.
The Heritage Country Choir will provide entertainment throughout the morning, with morning tea provided by the Byford Baptist Church after each ceremony at the Community Resource Centre function room.

PLEASE NOTE: ACROD and VIP parking will be at the Community Resource Centre car park, corner of Mundijong Road and Paterson Street, and general parking is available on Cockram Street and surrounds.
