The next steps in the process are that the Department of Planning Lands and Heritage will advise the Shire to make the necessary changes to the Scheme text and mapping based on the SPC decision. The process is explained in the flowchart here.
Shire officers will ensure that the modifications are made and that the documents are prepared for gazettal. The modifications will not be made public until gazettal to ensure that the integrity of the document is retained. Once the new scheme is gazetted the new scheme will be published on the Shire’s website in its entirety.
