Have your say on the environmental management of the Serpentine Sports Reserve.

The Serpentine Sports Reserve is a significant reserve, used recreationally by three major clubs, intermittently for one-off events, and informally by the local community. In addition to the recreational facilities, the conservation area contains three threatened ecological communities and a number of rare plants and animals.

The management of dual purpose reserves can lead to conflict between recreation and conservation. This Plan seeks to manage the increasing pressures in view of the values of the reserve. As the Management Plan is now more than eight years old, updating and revision is required.

The draft Revised Management Plan and original version may be inspected at the Shire’s offices during business hours. Electronic copies and a submission form can be downloaded below.

Submissions may be made to the Chief Executive Officer, Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale by 5pm on Friday 18 December 2020.
