Community Citizen of the Year Awards

The Auspire – Australia Day WA Community Citizen of the Year Awards are presented by Local Governments across Western Australia each year.

The Community Citizen of the Year Awards celebrate the positive news stories of our citizens who are worthy of the community's attention, recognising those who are role models and who inspire us with their achievements and challenge us to make our own contribution to creating a better community.

Your community champions can be recognised in four categories:

  • Community Citizen of the Year
  • Senior Community Citizen of the Year
  • Young Community Citizen of the Year
  • Active Citizenship Award - Community Group or Event.

Nominations for the Australia Day WA Community Citizen of the Year Awards have officially opened! Nominations for the 2020 will close on Thursday, 31 October 2019.

Awards will presented by the Shire at our Australia Day event held on Australia Day, Sunday 26 January 2020.
