Macora Walk Trail

The Macora Trail offers spectacular views over Kwinana and even Perth.

Trail Description

The Macora Trail, often called the Byford Hills Walk Trail, commences at the Macora Falls. The trail has some granite outcrops that are thought to be 400 million years old.  From the high points in the trail, there are views over Kwinana and even to Perth. Other points of interest along the trail include a historic water tank and, besides the quarry face, the site of the old 1914 brickworks.

The trail returns via Walters Road, Burrell Street, Stevenson Place and Bradshaw Road. This moderate level track includes some steep sections but the views make it worth it!
