Access and Inclusion Plan

The Access and Inclusion Plan identifies actions, recommendations and timeframes to improve access and inclusion for people of all abilities in the Shire.

The Western Australian Disability Services Act (1993) requires that local governments develop a Plan in accordance with the format prescribed in the Act and subsidiary regulations. The amendments to the Disability Services Act (1993) in 2004, contain the requirement for Local Government Authorities to develop and implement a Plan that will further both the principles and the objectives of the Act. The Shire’s Plan has been prepared in accordance with these requirements.

Copies of the Plan are also available in alternative formats upon request. Please contact the Shire’s Community Development Officers via email or by phone 9526 1111.
