The Shire often receives complaints about noise and dust from Off Road Vehicles (ORV), such as motorbikes. It is important to note that ORV users should consider the effects of repeated and extended use on neighbouring properties.
Under state-wide noise regulations, if it is found that ORV noise is unreasonable, Shire officers may issue a $500 infringement, confiscate the vehicle or refer the issue for a prosecution.
