Opera at the Mill
More than 800 people enjoyed a spectacular evening of opera under the stars at Jarrahdale Heritage
Mill on Saturday, 23 March.
Hosted by the Shire of Serpentine Jarrahdale, Opera at the Mill featured a quartet of opera singers
who performed some of the biggest opera numbers in the open air of Jarrahdale forest.
The quartet of Antoinette Halloran, Rosario La Spina, Argentine-Australian baritone José Carbó and
Serbian-born Milijana Nikolic performed parts from the most famous operas including:
- La Traviata, Verdi
- Carmen, Bizet
- The Barber of Seville, Rossini
- West Side Story, Bernstein
- The Phantom of the Opera, Lloyd Webber
- And more
Opera at the Mill would not have been possible without the generosity of event sponsors and supporters.
